While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floorboards were filthy, and a pungent odor of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire bar . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , old age and sickness . The bathroom was in even a more revolting state — spilling over , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
